August 2007 — "We flew from Calgary, AB to PEI for the week of July 30 and rented the trailer on Lot WS274- IT was absolutely terrible- the smell of sewage was terrible and worstened everytime the refrigerator was opened, the water was turned on, or the toilet was used. The added heat and humidity during that week made the stay unbearable. In fact, we left after the first night and rented a cottage in nearby Seaview ( And very lucky to have found this place, as everything on the ilsand seemed to have been rented) I would definitly not recommend this trailer to anyone, unless you truely have a nose for it... and with two small kids & no place to stay , our trip was almost ruined....

"We wish the renter had made us aware of the situation as we would have taken care of any problems, instead nothing was said to us & they left without a word. The trailer was rented the week before & the week after this with no problems. Hard to fix a problem when you are unaware there is one. We take any complaint seriously & do all we can to make sure everyone enjoys their vacation. We were unaware of this complaint until a renter mentioned reading this when booking a trailer. We are sorry that this family had a bad experience & would have worked with them had they only come to us."

Sleeping two adults and four children, these trailers are only available for use at Twin Shores Campground in Darnley. Each of the seven heated trailers comes equipped with a kitchen featuring fridge, stove, oven and cooking utensils, a full bathroom, barbecue and lawn chairs. Available June to September. No smoking allowed.
